Whittlesea Primary School values strong transitions to Primary School.

We offer a ‘Pre-Foundation Program’ for students currently attending kindergarten.

Commencing in July each year, we host a one-hour school experience weekly for our future Foundation students. The focus is on children becoming familiar with our school routines and facilities, as well as having a focus on early English and Mathematical skills.

Each year our Pre-Foundation children have an opportunity to meet our school leaders, experience specialist classes, and participate in whole school events.  One of our current Foundation teachers leads each session.

Parents have the flexibility to choose between two different sessions during the weeks that the program is operating.
