Compass (School Communication Platform/Portal) provides parents, carers, students, and staff an easy way to stay engaged and connected with our school. This online communication tool is used for publishing the newsletter, reporting absences, booking parent-teacher interviews, receiving your child’s report, making payments, and providing consent for your child to attend extra-curricular activities (Incursions, Excursions & Camps).

Each week on a Friday afternoon, we share our school newsletter, Primary Post, on Compass. These newsletters will also be stored in the Newsletter section of this website.
The Primary Post typically consists of the Principal's and Assistant Principals' Reports, General Updates/Reminders, Stars of the Week, Sports Report, ‘What's on at Whittlesea Primary School" (Upcoming Events), and Community News.
Whittlesea Primary School also has a School Facebook page, which is dedicated to keeping you up to date with the latest happenings at our school. This serves as another way of celebrating and sharing school activities and events. We will also post reminders as well as the occasional community message. We highly recommend that you ‘like’ and follow our page.
