Our School Zone

Our school zone is available on findmyschool.vic.gov.au, which hosts the most up-to-date information on school zones in Victoria. Our school manages enrolments in accordance with the Placement Policy. 

2027 Prep Enrolments

The Department of Education has released an updated statewide Prep enrolment timeline for the 2027 school year.

The timeline advises families when and how to enrol their child into Prep at a Victorian government primary school, including Whittlesea Primary School.

All government primary schools will follow this 2026 timeline for Prep enrolments for the 2027 school year.

Enrolment forms for 2027 Foundation students at Whittlesea Primary School are available from Monday, 20 th April 2026.

Key Dates & What you need to do:

1. Contact our office to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process.
2. Book a tour (recommended, but optional)
3. Download the Prep enrolment information pack from Enrolling in Prep (available Monday, 20th April 2026). This pack includes an Application and Enrolment form. You can also collect these from the school office.
4. Enrolment and Application forms from parents/carers are due by the last Friday of July, 31 July 2026.
5. Schools will notify parents and carers of enrolment outcomes between Monday, 3 and Friday, 14 August 2026.
6. Parents/carers who receive an enrolment offer should respond to the offer by Friday, 28 August 2026.
7. We ask that if you are enrolled, then a parent/carer should attend the enrolment information evening, which also outlines the pre-foundation/transition sessions (Details will be communicated directly from the school)

Please note: Enrolment applications submitted after 31 July 2026 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.

You may be asked to provide documents to verify your child’s permanent residence. Any combination of the following documents is acceptable, provided it totals at least 100 points.
