Whittlesea Primary School is looking forward to another great year of teaching and learning and would like to advise you of its voluntary financial contributions for 2025.

Schools provide students with free instruction to fulfil the standard Victorian curriculum, and we want to assure you that all contributions are voluntary. Nevertheless, the ongoing support of our families ensures that our school can offer our students the best possible education and support for our students. We want to thank all our school community members for their ongoing support, whether through fundraising or volunteering. This has made a significant difference to our school and the programs we can offer.

Within our school, this support allows the school to:

• Offer a wide range of curriculum learning areas, specialist subjects and various differentiated learning experiences for all students across all year levels.
• Purchase of digital devices, such as iPads and applications, which support the use of technology to promote digital citizenship and enhance learning engagement and outcomes.
• Purchase equipment to support the specialist subject implementation, such as sporting equipment for Physical Education / Sport, PE Boost/Perceptual Motor Skills Program - PMP (F-2), Mandarin (language), STEM (Yrs.3-6), Visual Art supplies, Inquiry resources, Developmental Play (F-2), Wellbeing Programs, Resilience Project, Enrichment and Excellence initiatives.
• Develop outdoor structures and learning spaces with various seating options
• Refurbish school spaces, rooms and grounds, including walkways, gardens, and general shared student learning and communal areas.

Please note: In 2025, the school decided not to use an additional ‘booklist’ supplier as we have incorporated all classroom costs into the Curriculum Contributions. Once families pay their Parent Payment (School Fees), no further items need to be purchased as all classroom items will be available at the school for all students at the commencement of Term 1.
